QotD: We Are Family

Are you close with your extended family? How often do you see them?

Cant say I am really, im not that close with my immediate family really.  I perhaps seemy one uncle maybe once a month or 2 months.  Another uncle I see once maybe every 6 -8 months or so, one uncle maybe once a month and an aunt I see maybe once a year at best.

As for my cousins, I havent seen some of my cousins for years and years, and Ive never been close to them in any shape or form.  There is a quite large age gap between me and my next youngest cousin and we just never saw each other much.

QotD: Wardrobe Malfunction

What's the most embarrassing outfit you've ever worn? Bonus points if you share a photo!

I havent got a photo but I do remember a few outfits, one I knew to be awful, I was about 10 and I had a yellow top and yellow ra-ra skirt (this was the 80's) but then I wore my red cardigan over the top, I was told I looked like tomato and egg breakfast.

The outfit I wore deliberately and I thought at the time I looked really cool in was my horseriding ankle boots, black stockings my 80's electric blue herringbone pattern pencil skirt which was very narrow so it was like a hobble skirt that went down to my ankles and my blue sloppy knitted jumper which my mother knitted which had a horses head on it and had wool hanging off it for its mane.  It could be said I probably looked damn awful but I thougth I looked very cool and avant garde.

Ugh will I ever get paid...

The last time I got paid was the week before Xmas.  They always pay us early which is great if youve got two wages coming in but for me, its one serious serious nightmare.  Im overdrawn and have another, yes another week to go before I get any wages.  Im really struggling, ive been living on sandwiches now for weeks trying my best only to buy what is necessary but ive started to run out of other stuff now, like washing up liquid and suchlike. 

I need to be paid!

I drank to much...much to much

Where was I when god was giving out willpower because I sure receive any.  I was doing so well and ive just blown it.  Had a weird dream last night.  I dreamt I woke up in my flat but it didnt look like my flat because it had stairs.  I went down the stairs in my flat to find a family of seven had taken all the cushions off my sofa and laid them on the floor so they could put there more fragile furniture on them.  This family were moving into a flat somewhere else in the block.  I live in a block of 6 and I coudnt understand which flat they were moving itno because nobody had moved out so there wasnt a flat vacant.  This family thougth my lounge was a communal lounge for everybody so were using it to store furniture in while they unloaded the van.

New Moon is affecting my sleep...

...im sure of it.  Hell im always a good sleeper but I just cant sleep and when I do its so fitfall and having the craziest of mixed up dreams, I vaguly remember dreaming about hedgehogs in a whicker basket last night.

What's your commute consist of each day? How do you pass the time?

I drive to work so I I dont pass the time, I get in car, I drive there, done.

QotD: License to Drive

Do you consider yourself a good driver? How many tickets have you received? What were they for?

My driving can waver from being very attentive to the point of being a bit too cautious to not being attentive enough and just "hoping for the best" at junctions and being too risky, like just not paying enough attention when reversing to whats going on behind me.

Ive only ever had one ticket, and that was because I was giong to the dentists and coudnt find a parking space in the road near the dentists and I had been going around the streets for almost 20 minutes unable to find anywhere and I had now become late for my appointment because of it so I took the risk and parked in the residential permit side of the road, and I got caught  :-(  I was not happy that I had been forced to park somewhere I didnt want to park for sheer desperation.

Ok Ive got a bit of a dilema....

...... I was looking at other free blogging services and went onto wordpress, now the last time I went on there there was no way to import posts from Vox and if youre like me have a good few years worth of blog posts, its not something to abandon lightly.  However, they have now, an import tool that is, and it works, all 691 posts and their associated comments and tags.  I was quite impressed, so ive been messing around on wordpress seeing what it will and will not do.  And I have to say I do really like it.  But I like Vox too and I feel kinda "loyal" to Vox, but Wordpress has so many more features and controls, but Vox has a much easier way to keep in touch with Neighbours, its harder to find likeminded people on Wordpress than you can on Vox, but Vox is full of fake blogs built by people using it as a source to host porn etc, you only have to go browse Explore Vox>Posts and you can see it, page after page.

So at the moment Im running two blogs concurrently until I decide what to do.
